What is Shades Dancewear?
Shades Dancewear is an inclusive UK brand that allows dancers to retain their identity and embrace their ethnicity from the minute they step into their first dance class. We believe Shades Dancewear will revolutionise the way dancers of all skin tones view themselves in a space that has yet to fully acknowledge inclusivity.
While our dance community continues to lack diverse dancewear, Shades Dancewear bridges the gap and caters for Global Majority dancers and performers of all skin tones. We want every Black and Brown dancer to embrace their skin tone by wearing dancewear that truly matches their skin.
Our four shades are Bojangles, Raven, Uday and Pearl, and we hope to add to our collection in the future.

How can I find out what skin tone Shades Dancewear is right for me?
Shades Dancewear offers a unique Colour Match Swatch that can be ordered via our website. The Colour Match Swatch allows you to match your skin tone ahead of ordering any of our products.
How long will it take to receive my parcel?
- Standard UK delivery for all Shades Dancewear orders have a delivery time of 2-3 working days.
- UK Orders over £50 will be have free standard delivery.
- Next day delivery is also available for an additional amount.
- Orders from European countries will have a delivery time of 3-5 working days.
- Orders Worldwide will have a delivery time of 6-7 working days.
